Springhill Family Enters New Habitat Home In Time For The Holidays

Habitat for Humanity today dedicated a new home for the Embree family in Springhill, Nova Scotia, giving the saying "home for the holidays" a whole new meaning.  

"We are pleased to financially support this project and help Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia assist more families own their own home", said Joanne Bernard, Minister responsible for Housing Nova Scotia. "We are committed this year to support the work of Habitat for Humanity across the province and this is another example of our commitment in action."

Harold and Carla Embree, and their three children Dennise, Devon and Anthony, have been anxiously awaiting the completion of their new home.  The Embrees got to work early after their selection for the program on their 500 hours of "sweat equity".
